Accessing the Agency Web

The Agency Desktop can be accessed by following this link: Agency Desktop Web we recommend using internet browser Google Chrome.

  • Enter your Agency Desktop user ID and password and click Login


  • If your user ID and password are accepted, the Agency Desktop will open.
  • If you have forgotten your password enter your user name and click Forgot Password. Your password will be emailed to address associated with your account.

From the Landing Page click on the Create Landing Report button.

This will bring up the Create Landing Report window.

Click on the drop down for Report Type. Select the type of Report you will be entering. Then click on the Create button.

Setting Operation by Searching on Landing Report (Set Op)

After you click on the Create button, a new landing report will open. Notice the Landing Report number at the top. In this case, the Landing Report Number is 18461689.

This will bring up the Operation window.

Search for an Operation

In the Search, you can search by a number of different fields.

  • Operation ID: Every report is associated with a processor operation. An operation represents a collection of operation codes including operation type, operation name, processor code, federal processor code, registered buyer number, vessel number, port, and even a vehicle number for setnet buying.
  • Name: The Name or part of the name of the operation to search for.
  • Port: The port associated with the operation.
  • Type: The type of operation:
    • At-Sea Processor
    • Buyer-Exporter
    • Catcher Seller
    • Custom Processing
    • Catcher Vessel
    • Direct Marketer
    • Plant/Receiver
    • Tender
  • Fed. Permit #- A Federal processor permit (FPP) is a permit issued by NMFS. No shoreside processor of the US or stationary floating processor may receive or process groundfish harvested in the GOA or BSAI, unless the owner first obtains a Federal processor permit. 
  • Proc Code: In order to operate in Alaska a processor must register with Alaska Dept of Revenue for a processor code, i.e., F12345.
  • Reg. Buyer #: A permit issued by NMFS, Alaska Region (under 50 CFR Part 679.4), that authorizes the person identified on the permit to receive and make an IFQ landing by an IFQ permit cardholder or to receive and made a CDQ landing a CDQ permit or cardholder at any time during the fishing year for which it is issued until the Registered Buyer permit expires, or is revoked, suspended, or modified under applicable Federal law.
  • RCR #: Registered Crab Receiver Permits (RCR) are required: for any person who receives unprocessed CR crab from the person(s) who harvested the crab, the owner or operation of a vessel that processes CR crab at sea, any person holding IPQ, and any person required to submit a Departure Report.

I'm going to search by Name, Port and Type, and then hit the Search button. 

A table will populate with operations that meet your search criteria. Click on the blue ID link of the operation you'd like to select. I will click on ID 997616.

When I click on the blue operation link, the Operation in the header section of the salmon landing report will populate.

Creating an Operation

Click on the Set Op Button

This will bring up the Operation window.

You've searched and cannot find the operation in the eLandings, you can create an operation by clicking on the Create button.

Once you click on the Create button, the Create Operation window will open.

  • Name: A label to identify an operation. Typically this is the operation name is the name of the business.
  • Type: The type of operation:
    • At-Sea Processor
    • Buyer-Exporter
    • Catcher Seller
    • Custom Processing
    • Catcher Vessel
    • Direct Marketer
    • Plant/Receiver
    • Tender
  • Proc Code: In order to operate in Alaska a processor must register with Alaska Dept of Revenue for a processor code, i.e., F12345.
  • Port: The port associated with the operation.

I enter the Name, Type, Proc Code, Port, and change the Status to Enabled, then I click the Create button.

Missing Operation

Sometimes you will have an operation that legitimately does not have a processor code. This could be an IPHC landing or an out-of-state landing.

If this is the case, you can enter in the Missing Value.
