Accessing the Agency Web
The Agency Desktop can be accessed by following this link: Agency Desktop Web we recommend using internet browser Google Chrome.
- Enter your Agency Desktop user ID and password and click Login
- If your user ID and password are accepted, the Agency Desktop will open.
- If you have forgotten your password enter your user name and click Forgot Password. Your password will be emailed to address associated with your account.
Training Scenario #1: Find the most recent amount of halibut delivered to a Processor
An Enforcement officer wishes to determine the most recent amount of halibut delivered to the processor Atka Pride Seafoods, and when that most recent landing report was submitted.
Solution: You could search for the plant's processor code by going to Permits...Processor Codes.
Enter part of the plant's name and click Search.
Note the ADF&G processor code, F1973. Click on the Search reports magnifying glass.
This will bring up the Landing Report Search page, where it searched for Proc Code F1973. You can expand Permits>, More>, and Dates> to narrow your search.
Click on the More> to expand, select species 200 and then click the Search button
Training Scenario #2 Determine How Many At-Sea Catcher Processors Fished During a Date Range
Determine how many at-sea catcher processors fished on December 10, 2014 and what they targeted.
Solution: Go to Search...Production Reports. Fill in the Date of Report fields (between 12/10/2008 and 12/10/2008). Fill out the port code as FCP (floating catcher processor). Click on the Search button. Open the records one at a time to determine what fish were targeted.
Training Scenario #3
Tabulate all the landings that Ocean Beauty Seafoods in Kodiak reported during January 2009 and determine how many pounds of rex sole, if any, were sold that month.
Solution: Go to Search...Processor Codes. Type in any part of the processor's name (not case-sensitive) and click on the Search button. Highlight the operation and click on Search for Landing Report to make sure you chose the correct operation with landings in January 2009. Go to Queries...Landing Details by FCode. Fill in the fields requested. (01/01/2015, 12/31/2014, ADF&G processor code). Note that date needs to be formatted as MM/DD/YYYY. Click OK. Save the report on your desktop. Sort by Species code and determine how many pounds of rex sole were sold by that plant.
Training Scenario #4
Determine how many crab landing reports were generated by the catcher vessel Fierce Allegiance in February 2013 to date, and determine who is the IFQ permit holder.
Solution: Go to Search...Vessels. Fill out the vessel name and click Search. Highlight the correct vessel and click on Search for Landing Reports. Fill in the date fields (02/01/2013 and current date), chose Crab as Type of Report, and click Search. Open the records to determine who is the IFQ permit holder.
