Setting Batch Information on an Individual Landing Report

Setting Batch Information on an Individual Landing Report

Set the Batch Information on an individual landing report, as opposed to grouping them during auto batching.

  • On the Home page, click on Reports > Set Batch Number

On the Set Batch Information page, enter office = Juneau and batch number = 11.

  • Click OK

You will be taken to the landing report search page.

  • Click on the menu "Agency" to go back to the home page.

On the home page

  • Click on Unbatched Reports Search button.

In the Search Criteria drop down menu.

  • Select "Region 1 Unbatched Groundfish Landings in Week".

  • Click the search button

This will take you to the Landing Report Search screen. It will automatically fill out the search criteria fields for you and run the search.

Notice that it auto-filled the search fields – Report Type, Status, Batched, Region, From Landing Date and To Landing Date.

All of the landing reports found should be groundfish landing reports with stat areas in region 1, that are finally submitted but have not been batched yet.
Note: We are in the TEST system. All of these landing reports are fake landing reports that have been generated by developers or during the testing process this week. These tickets are not real. We can modify them without worrying.

  • Click on one of the landing report IDs found.

A new tab opens in the browser

Notice that this ticket does not have batch information associated with it.

In the upper right-hand side of the screen, there is a button that looks like a stack of books.

Click on this button to reviews some of your options on this ticket

On tickets that have not been batched yet, you will see the option "Assign Batch".

Click on "Assign Batch"

We set the batch information earlier.

The Batch Year, Office Code and Batch Number fields is automatically entered into the form. It will not be applied to the ticket until you click "Save"

You will need to enter a unique sequence ticket number for each fish ticket number on the landing report.

Enter in a seq ticket number of 123 and click save

The batch information should be saved to the landing report.

At the top of the screen you should see:

Success Successfully Assigned Batch to Landing Report

In the CFEC Permit Section, the Batch column should now contain "2018-1-11" and the Sequence column should contain "123"

If you click on the stack of books button on the upper right side of the screen

You no longer see "Assign Batch" as one of the options. You don't see it because the ticket has been batched.

If you made a mistake and need to change the batch, click on the Edit button

You can then edit the CFEC permit record directly by clicking on the edit button.

This will open up a dialog box.

In the dialog box, you can change the Batch Year, Batch Office, Batch Number and Sequence Ticket Number. Then click the ok button

In order for this change to be saved to the database, you will need to scroll to the bottom of the screen and press the save button

When you are done working on a batch click on Reports > Close Batch

Closing the batch will stop the system from defaulting the batch fields with this set of batch information.

The default batch will remain set even if you close the browser and come back later. You will have to click "Close Batch" to stop it. Alternatively, you can click Set Batch Number and change it.
