This is the current User Guide for all Agency Web activities.

This is a replacement for Agency Desktop (a.k.a. agencyIf). The Agency Desktop was retired permanently in February of 2019.

Accessing the Agency Web

The Agency Desktop can be accessed by following this link: Agency Desktop Web we recommend using internet browser Google Chrome.

  • Enter your Agency Desktop user ID and password and click Login


  • If your user ID and password are accepted, the Agency Desktop will open.
  • If you have forgotten your password enter your user name and click Forgot Password.Your password will be emailed to address associated with your account.



Changing Your Password

Step 1.

  • Once logged into the Agency Desktop, go to the top right corner and click on the arrow next to your user name.
  • Select Change Password

  • Enter your current password, new password, confirm new password, and click Save.

  • The next time you login to the application use your new password.


Resetting a Agency Users Password

Step 1.

  • Once logged into the Agency Desktop, go to the top menu Admin, click on the arrow, and select Agency Users.
  • Search for the user by user ID, User name or Agency
  • Click on the User ID who's password needs to be reset


  • Click on the pull down menu in the top right corner and select Reset Password

  • Enter the users new password, and click Save.

Searching for Reports

  • The Agency Desktop provides users with the ability to search for reports that have been submitted through the eLandings, seaLandings, and tLandings applications.
  • There are two methods that can be used to locate reports, the Direct Method and the Landing Report search dialog box.

Opening Landing Reports Directly From the Home Page

  • If you click on the Search button from the home page

  • This allows you to locate a landing report using multiple search criteria.

  • If you know the report number, you can view it by entering the report ID here and clicking on Search. 

  • Clicking on the report ID in blue text will instantly display the landing report. 

  • Searching by the fish ticket number will also locate the landing report.

Locate a Landing Report using Multiple Search Criteria

Step 1. Go to Reports, Landing Reports
Step 2. Fill out the fields that you wish to use to query the eLandings database, then click on the Search button to populate the table with reports that meet the criteria you entered.

  • Expand the Permits, More and Dates menus to display the advanced search options.
  • You may choose to use the drop-down menus to autofill those fields and eliminate extra data entry.

Step 3. Click on any report ID in your results table to display an individual landing report.

  • Once you have opened your report, click on the drop down menu in the top right corner.
  • Select the History button to view specific details about the report.




The history of the screen shot below indicates that this report has two versions:

  • The processor submitted the initial report (status 4) on 04/18/2018 at 14:31
  • The processor created multiple versions (status 4) on 04/18/2018 between  07:31 and 07:52. 
  • The horizontal and vertical scroll bars allow you to view further information related to the report.


The history popup is currently not optimized. Future work should correct this behavior. 

Locate a Production Report using Multiple Search Criteria

Step 1. Go to Reports....Production Reports.
Step 2. Fill in the criteria which you want to use to locate specific production reports. Click on the Search button.

Step 3.

  • Double click on any report in the results table or click on a report and then click on the Open button to display an individual report.
  • Like landing reports, you can click on the History button to determine when the report was submitted.



  • The screen shot below shows that the Initial Report Entered Date was 04/20/2018 at 08:04:12 and the Last Update Date was 08/12/2011 at 10:54:09.
  • In the Production table you can see that the bottom two lines of product were modified and/or added on 08/12/2011.


Locate a Vessel Logbook and View Haul Information

The electronic logbook component was added to eLandings in January of 2011 for use by the AFA and CDQ trawl catcher processors.

Step 1. Go to Reports....Logbooks.
Step 2. Fill in the search criteria that will enable you to locate a specific logbook.

  • Click on the Search button.


Step 3.

  • Select the vessel logbook that you want to view and then click on Logbook ID in bblue text.
    • To locate specific data within the logbook you need to use the navigation pane on the left hand side of the screen. 
    • Note that a green circle indicates activity while a black square denotes inactivity.

  • By expanding a Voyage you will be able to see more detailed information about daily hauls and sets.
  • Clicking on the actual Haul/Set number will provide you with deploy and retrieval, lat/long, targeted species, hail weight, and catch information.
  • You can also print out logbook PDF pages for a single day or within a specified date range depending on your needs.
    • To print a single day, click on a day in the logbook navigation pane and then click on the the blue download icon in the upper right corner of the screen.
    • To print a date range, click on the specific report type that you want printed, Logbook ID will return the entire logbook, haul and/or voyage date in the navigation tree and then the blue print icon and select PDF or XML format.


Other Search Criteria

The Agency Desktop provides search capabilities for the following;

  • CFEC permits
  • Multiple types of Federal permits
  • NMFS IDs/IFQ permits
  • Processor codes
  • Vessels ADF&G numbers
  • RCR/IPQ permits
  • Registered Buyers
  • Vessels

To search based on any of these criteria go to Permits...and select the permit type you're looking for.

For example:

  • Click on CFEC permits from the drop down list.
  • Enter your fishery permit criteria and click on Search.
  • Select one of the permit holders and click on the magnifying glass button to view any landings associated with that permit.


Running Queries

The Agency Desktop has expanded on its number of canned queries.
To query the eLandings database for landing or production data:

Go to Queries.... Queries.

The Query dialog box will open. Locate and click on a query that will help you find data you are looking for.


  • In the example below I selected Delinquent Fish Tickets by Port. 
  • Click on the Run button.

  • A dialog box will pop up and you'll need to fill in the required Values of Port and Days Delinquent by double clicking in the cell. Then click on Execute.

  • The program will create the report as a .csv file and it will be saved to your Downloads folder, this can be opened later by using Excel.





Creating New Users

Processor Users

  • Agency staff should not be creating new processor users anymore. New operations and processor users must go through the eLandings registration procedure.
  • Direct potential users to http://elandings.alaska.gov/ or have them call eLandings User Support at 907-586-7462 for further information.

  • Direct new agency staff to the appropriate contacts to enable accounts:
