Searching for Reports

  • The Agency Desktop provides users with the ability to search for reports that have been submitted through the eLandings, seaLandings, and tLandings applications.
  • If you know the report ID, Fish Ticket Number, Production Report ID or Logbook ID, you can use the quick search function on your home screen, which may or may not look a little different than the one pictured below.
  • Entering a valid report ID in any of the fields shown on the homepage and clicking the "Show" button below the field will open the report immediately in another tab.

  • If you do not know the exact report ID, you can use the Reports dropdown menu at the upper left of the screen to navigate to a search page.
    • Please note that the Logbooks menu item is for a legacy logbook search and the Daily Reports menu item is for the new Daily Trip Report logbook. The majority of Catcher Processor logbooks will be found under the Daily Reports menu item.

  • In this scenario, we navigated to the landing report search page, which you can see displayed below. You can use any of the fields to create search criteria. The "Permits", "More", and "Dates" sections are collapsible, and can be expanded by clicking on the title.

Logbooks

There are two different logbook types in the Agency Web. The first logbook type, which can be found under the "Logbook" menu item consists of both trawl and longline logbooks using the legacy eLandings system. The other type of logbook, called the Daily Trip Report, which is under the "Daily Reports" menu item. This is the updated logbook that most of the fleet uses, longline, trawl, pot gear and catcher vessel logbooks can be found under this menu item.

The electronic logbook component was added to eLandings in January of 2011 for use by the AFA and CDQ trawl catcher processors.

Step 2. Fill in the search criteria that will enable you to locate a specific logbook.

  • You can also generate an entire trip's PDFs, or look at the discard reports for a catcher vessel by selecting a trip name in the date tree and using blue buttons to download.

Other Search Criteria

The Agency Desktop provides search capabilities for the following;

  • CFEC permits
  • Multiple types of Federal permits
  • NMFS IDs/IFQ permits
  • Processor codes
  • Vessels ADF&G numbers
  • RCR/IPQ permits
  • Registered Buyers
  • Vessels

To search based on any of these criteria go to Permits...and select the permit type you're looking for.

For example:

  • Limit your search criteria by choosing a CFEC fishery, and then entering the last two digits of the current year in the CFEC Year Seq. field. This will limit search results to only the current calendar year.
  • Click Search

  • By clicking on the magnifying glass on any of the rows, you can search for landing reports associated with that CFEC card. Also note that if your search results in more than 10 items there will be pagination at the bottom right of the screen, which you can move through to see further results.
