When using the report extract function within the Agency Web, it can be used on its own or in conjunction with IERS System Monitor. This section will show how to do both.

The report extract feature keeps a running list of all the extracts done in Agency Web by all users. The list has downloadable links for each extract call from the system.

Using the Report Extract Feature

To use the Report Extract Feature navigate to Reports > Report Extract Files.

The Report Files default to sorting by type. The first two letters in the description of report describe the file type. LB means Logbook, LR stands for landing report, and PR stand production report.

Because the Report Extract Files date back to 2015, there can be many pages of results for each file type. For ease of searching, users can also sort by date, either by oldest or most recent. To sort by most recent date click on the small upward point arrow to the right of the "Save Date" column.

This sorts the results by newest to oldest.

To download the files from the Report Extract, simply click on the file name in blue that you want to download.

For Google Chrome users the download will begin automatically at the bottom of the screen.

The file downloads in a .CSV file that allows the user to view and edit the content in Microsoft Excel.

Using the Report Extract Feature in conjunction with the IERS System Monitor.

Using the Report Extract Feature in conjunction with IERS System Monitor allows for Agency Users to see the User ID that is making calls to download a report, when they made the call on the system, and a basic file description of the file that is being downloaded. This can be particularly helpful for user support. If a user is having a difficult time retrieving a file that they are trying to extract, using both the IERS Monitor to see when the User ID made the call on the system, then use the Report Extract to match the time of download, and retrieve the file that they were trying to download will allow the agency user to email the processor user the file in a separate email.

For instance, if an agency user wanted to assist the processor user ASKATE retrieving Production Reports that the user was attempting to retrieve, they would first navigate to the IERS Monitor, by going to ADMIN > System Monitor

This will open the System Monitor search page.

To search you will need to fill in some basic information at minimum or more if possible. The minimum search criteria would be the User ID, the WS Type which should be Report Extract, Error filters set at "Is Null", and a date range. Once this information is filled in, you can click search.
