The Commercial Fisheries Entry Commission (CFEC) has added to all CFEC permit cards, issued in 2008, a magnetic stripe embedded with permit information that can be used with the eLandings System. When using the eLandings system to record landings, you can enter CFEC permit information into the system using a magnetic stripe card reader.
Magnetic stripe card readers can be purchased as an add-on to most contemporary computers and are very reasonably priced.
