Changing Export Schema Version

The eLandings developers change the schema from time to time as they improve and enhance the eLandings system. By default, the XML export will export the latest schema version used by eLandings, but the user can choose to have the export in an older version. The eLandings system also allows you to register to be notified when the XML schema is changed.

The XML Schema Version Number for Reports is the version of the schema that will be used to generate the files when you extract them by clicking on the Landing Report or Production Report number. If the version number you specify is not the current schema version number, the system will automatically downgrade the data to make in compatible with the version you specify. If you do want new fields that are introduced in a particular version of the schema then you must specify that schema version number. If the XML Schema Version Number for Reports is blank you will receive data prepared with the most current schema.

The Notify about XML Schema Version Changes checkbox allows you to let the eLandings system and developers know that you want to be informed when the schema version changes and new fields are available.
