Once a landing report has been uploaded to the eLandings database, only an eLandings agency administrator can void a report.
The most common reason why a landing report needs to be voided is due to duplicate creation.
The request to void a duplicate landing report is best completed by sending an email to eLandings@alaska.gov.
To facilitate voiding the report, the eLandings administrator performing this task will need to have either the landings report id numbers or the fish ticket numbers (located in the upper right hand corner of the printed report and starting with an 'E').
Also indicate the report you wish to void and the report you want to retain. If you have two or more duplicate reports and only one of the reports has a signature, remember to retain the report with the signature.
We do not delete records, we only flag reports as voided.
If you have a report that needs to be voided and it is not a duplicate, send an email to the address listed above, with a brief explanation of the need to void the report.
Most requests to void a report are completed within 48 hours. The member of the eLandings team completing this task will contact you verifying completion of the request.
IF THE REPORT YOU WISH TO VOID OR MODIFY IS FOR AN IFQ DEBITED LANDING, PLEASE CONTACT THE NMFS DATA TECHNICIANS AT: 1-800-304-4846, OPTION 1.
As we do not delete the report, if you make a mistake and request voiding a valid report, just email the administrators and we can "unvoid" the report.
- Email your request to eLandings@alaska.gov
- If a landing has been submitted in duplicate, please include in the email both unique report numbers
- landing report id
- fish ticket number
- Indicate the report to void and the report to retain
- If the request to voiding is for a single report, provide a brief explanation
- The elandings administrator will review the request and send a return email outlining the action taken
