eLandings Anchorage Training Event April 16, 2024

9:30 am - Meet and Greet

10:00 am - Introductions and Housekeeping:  Amy or Dave

  • The eLandings System: Amy

    • eLandings Reporting System Overview

      • eLandings components

      • Landing & Daily Production reports

        • Management Program Modifier

      • Check-in/Check-out Report begins and closes your reporting window. 

      • Make sure that you are using the current forms by checking the expiration date on each form. 

  • Operations and User Management: Dave

    • Operations Administration: 

      • Add buying stations tenders, and custom processors. You must be an admin user to have this ability. 

      • Adding Custom Processing Operations

      • Add or edit a user - again you have to be an admin user. 

      • User Profile will allow you to edit your permit lines, number of decimals seen, number of stat area see, and update your contact information.

      • Grading and Pricing Templates allows you to automatically populate the grading and pricing page

  • Data Extract Tool:  Dave

    • Data Extract Instructions

      • Data extract - The data extract only works with finalized landing reports, (i.e. Initial submit reports will not be shown.)

        • There are two formats to download with, either .xml or .csv 

        • Instructions on how to do this step by step are available on the link above

          • Customization allows you to edit the format to your needs. 

          • It takes about 1-10 minutes to get the report, if it takes longer than 1 hour, contact eLandings user support at eLandings@alaska.gov

  • eLandings COAR:  Dave

  • Data Corrections:  Dave

    • Locked reports - Reports are locked at 90 days, past this window contact elandings@alaska.gov. You will either need to provide the landing report ID or the fish ticket number. You may also need to provide a reason why it needs to be unlocked. 

    • Duplicate and voided reports - You will send an email to eLandings@alaska.gov. Provide the LR number you want to delete, and if its a duplicate please provide the duplicate landing report number as well. If it is not a duplicate please provide a written explanation of why. 

    • Mass updates of salmon reports - send an email to elandings@alaska.gov. 

    • Data reconciliation - ADF&G does a regional reconciliation. 

  • Observer Fees:  Amy

    • Observer Fees - Use this link to learn more about Observer fees, and observer fee status information. 

      • Email eLandings@alaska.gov if you don't see Observer Fees for IFQ populate immediately, or if you have other questions that you can't figure out alone. 

      • Vessels without FFPs are not subject to Observer Fees

      • 1.65% of ex-vessel value based on three years prior determine the Observer fees. Split 50/50 between the processing plant and owner/operator

      • Jan 15th is the date of invoice for the total fee liability from the previous year. You can use eFISH to pay this. 

  • Training Resources & User Support: Amy

    • How fisheries are managed with the data you provide

    • Timely upload and finalization of landing reports

    • Accurate average weights

    • Submission of signed copies of fish tickets to ADF&G

Event Parking

Parking is available in the Linny Pacillo Parking Garage across the street from the Atwood Building. Validation is required at the Atwood Security desk located on the 1st floor outside the Atwood Conference Center when leaving.

  • Validation must done at the end of the scheduled conference center use. Guests will be required to pay for parking 30 minutes after validation if they remain parked after the event.
