Halibut and Sablefish IFQ Areas

IFQ Halibut and Sablefish is allocated to fishery and management area. Each species has different management areas:

There are 8 halibut areas in Alaska: 

• 2C
• 3A, 3B
• 4A, 4B, 4C, 4D, 4E

There are 6 sablefish areas: 

• SE
• WY
• CG
• WG
• AI
• BS
